Ship Plainly Bid Packs · Texas

Answer public bids without losing a week to paperwork.

Cities, school districts, counties, and transit agencies put service work out to bid. The work is often a good fit for small firms. The bid documents are long. We read them, list every form and deadline, and draft the response from facts you give us. You set every price, sign every form, and submit it yourself.

Who it's for

Small local service firms in Texas, from solo operators to about 25 staff, that do recurring service work agencies buy: pest control, grounds and landscaping, janitorial, kitchen hood cleaning, lift station and grease trap service, and similar trades. If you've skipped a bid because the packet looked like a weekend of reading, this is for you.

We start in the Houston area. San Antonio, Austin, and Dallas–Fort Worth come next.

How it works

1

We watch the bids

We check public bid listings for Houston-area agencies and pick out the ones that match your trade.

2

You get a heads-up

We send a short note: what the bid is, who's buying, and when it's due. Heads-ups are free, with no obligation and no card needed. You reply yes or skip it.

3

We draft, you submit

You answer a short intake. We draft the pack, and an industry professional reviews it against a written checklist. You review it, fill in your prices, sign, and submit on the agency's portal.

FAQ

Do the bid heads-ups cost anything?

No. Heads-ups are free, with no obligation and no card needed. You only pay the per-bid price if you reply yes and want us to draft the pack.

Do you submit the bid for me?

No. You review the pack, fill in every price, sign the forms, and submit it on the agency's portal yourself.

Will you tell me what to charge?

No. The pricing is yours. We lay out what the bid asks for, and you fill in the numbers.

Is this legal advice?

No. We don't tell you whether you qualify, whether to take exceptions, or how to answer a sworn form. Ask your attorney, CPA, or insurance agent.

Can you promise I'll win?

No. Nobody honest can. A complete, on-time response gives you a fair shot, and that's what we help with.

Is it written by AI?

Drafting is AI-assisted. A person reviews every pack against a written checklist before you get it, and it only uses facts you give us.

Do I need to register with the State of Texas to get bid notices?

For State of Texas purchasing, vendors register on the Comptroller's Centralized Master Bidders List to receive state bid notices. The Comptroller lists the annual fee as $70, so check its page for current terms. City, county, and school district bids usually run through their own portals, so check each bid's instructions. This is a heads-up, not legal advice.

Are there bids you won't take?

Yes. We decline bids where we have a relationship with the buying agency, and work outside the trades we cover.
